downloading new release from tracker fails

Post by srgz »

Tryin' to get and share newest release ISOs from tracker, but transmission says "could not connect to tracker https://torrents.linuxmint.com:443"

Looks like announce file either not present or inaccessible (https://torrents.linuxmint.com/announce.php)

upd: looks like it moved from http site (301 Moved Permanently) but not present on https (400 Bad request)

Any thoughs?

Could anyone check, please? downloading an ISO manually to share it with torrent is a little bit stupid...

Transmission 2.92 (14714)

Still nothin' happened, still doesn't work. Is that OK?

Shall I expect that the other things in LinuxMint work the same manner?

Shall I expect that the support team and releasers are not just interested?

Hi, welcome to the forums..

It was working fine about a week ago, and I've just started a fresh download now and it's working fine right now.

I'm using the same transmission version.

So some troubleshooting thoughts - got a block list set up in transmission?

Does this web address load in your browser https://torrents.linuxmint.com/

Can you get the tracker scrape info via the command line?

Code: Select all

wget https://torrents.linuxmint.com/scrape.php
