what do I need to do to install Wine Gecko? Also there are other errors too.

I have downloaded "wine_gecko-2.47-x86_64.msi" from https://dl.winehq.org/wine/wine-gecko/2.47/

Installed Wine how? Why wineboot instead of winecfg?

Anyhoo, as I recall, there are instructions at WineHQ for installing Gecko from a file.

FWIW, I never install gecko because I don't want wine to be able render HTML (to stop Internet Explorer from working, I hope!) I get prompted to install it (and mono, which I also don't install) when I run something in a new wine "prefix".

You could start using the prefix you already created and see if those errors prevent programs from running (they might not); also FWIW, I use winecfg to create a new prefix, (not wineboot, which I've never run) as here: https://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#How_do_I_cr ... _system.3F

If you think you want gecko, check this for the gecko version: https://wiki.winehq.org/Gecko
You can use msiexec to install the .msi file; here's an unhelpful description: https://wiki.winehq.org/Msiexec
Please edit your original post title to include [SOLVED] if/when it is solved!
Your data and OS are backed up....right?

I followed the instructions from "How to install Mono or dotNET45 on Linux - Tutorial"

Installed wine and my problem got solved, did not need gecko after all.
