Hi all.
I have several machines running Mint 19.3, 20 & 20.1. I noticed in driver-manager there are some German translations missing.
Yet on launchpad, the translations have been done for quite some time.
Specifically the phrases "Looking for hardware drivers..." and "Your computer does not need any additional drivers." are shown in English instead of German.
Can anyone explain why that is? How do (new) translations on launchpad find their way into the OS?
Of course the mentioned systems are up-to-date (apt full-upgrade).
Thanks in advance!
Cheers, Hawaiihemd

Re: Missing German and Dutch translations
Hmmm, yes, exactly the same problem in a Dutch localized system....
Although I'm a Dutch translator myself, I wouldn't know where this comes from. But it looks like a bug in

: some strings that have been translated on Launchpad long ago, somehow didn't come through. I think we might need a developer to look into this.Tip: 10 things to do after installing Linux Mint 22 Wilma

That looks good.... When you're right, that would be a super-fast fix.Hawaiihemd wrote: ⤴Wed May 12, 2021 7:55 am I'm not sure but this seems like they are already onto it:
