[SOLVED] French dubious translation in Gnome Disks

In Gnome Disks Options, third item in French is labelled :
Modifier le système de fichiers (in english, Modify the file system).

In fact this option allows to change the Volume Label.
So a litteral translation as Modifier l'étiquette du volume would clearly be more accurate, file system meaning something else than volume label.

PS : I'm speaking from dual-boot LMDE4/Mint 19.3. In both systems this is occurring. I don't know if it has been corrected in Mint 20.x.

It isn't Mint's to fix, as Gnome in the the name Gnome Disks implies.

Noted and checked.
But being very (too much ?) concerned with privacy, I don't like having accounts here and there and Git needs one to create an issue. So I'll have to live with this "dubious translation". :)
Thanks anyway fro the tip.

Take a look at a Chrome/FF add-on named Blur. It has a number of desirable features, though I only use one: mask my email. If you feed it your email address, it will create throwaway email addresses for you.

Observation:
This imprecision also exists at the Portuguese interface in Brazil. In the context menu it is written:
"Editar sistema de arquivos" (Edit file system).

But in the popup window it is correct:
"Alterar rótulo do sistema de arquivos" ("Change file system label").

Looks like the English original string (text) in the template is Edit _Filesystem...
https://translations.launchpad.net/ubun ... it%20_file

So the translation is not dubious but correct. It's the English original that's perhaps dubious. The Gnome devs are the only ones who can rectify that, as Kadaitcha already said.

Right. But things are different if all languages have the same 'dubious' idea. I'll have to adapt. In fact, I did long ago using command line with e2label, but I was trying to help a friend finding it in menus and we erred until a search on the web gave us the tip.
That's why I love CLI : you don't depend on hidden features, even if I understand people not willing to swim in CLI waters.

Thanks to everyone. Will mark as SOLVED.
