Is that half a desktop covered with sticky notes? :? :? :?
Yeah, that's almost half a monitor (the first of three monitors) covered with sticky notes (six are temporary shopping lists). On the left side of that monitor are icons for my four data drives followed by shortcuts for frequently used folders and documents. Along with the sticky notes is an xsensors display. Most of the right half of that monitor is an Evolution Calendar (with my ADHD, I would be in deep do-do without it :? ) with space for some more sticky notes under it should I need them.

WOW!
What size monitor is that . . . or is that over three or four monitors?
'Tis a single extended 5760 x 1080 display on three side-by-side 24" 1920 x 1080 monitors. I have six workspaces set up in the panel of my single screen laptop but, since I have three monitors to work with on my desktop machine, I should need no more than four workspaces on the panel.

BTW, the display on each one of the three monitors is mirrored on its own HDMI input on my 43" TV.

I love the dark glass look. :)
(But I like the standard background of LM....first time that I like a standard background haha)

I have to further edit css to make all windows have the glass look.
I took the "faded-dream" theme and edited it and used a cinnamon script from here to set the different opacity levels.
For me it was important that not all windows have opacity below 100 (fullscreen apps, Firefox, VLC etc.) and that only inactive windows are pretty much look through (85) - I like to see what is beneath a window, whilst active windows (here the Terminal) are set to only 95 to be able to properly read.

So far I like it. (aside from not all windows do look glass...)

The 'Glass Look' can go quite a bit further. :D
here's VLC and a File Manager:
