I was trying to create a bridged network between my guest os and host os. I've been able to restore networking access on my host machine however I have lost access to the network manager icon/app.
I can see that my wired connection 1 has been used last 18 hours ago. How do I reinstall the Network Manager? Or maybe it just needs re added to my menu bar. DE is Cinnamon.
Hope this is enough information. I do have logs of commands ran but I don't know when it broke exactly.

Do a Timeshift Restore point before it broke, if there is one.

Got it figured out! Had to edit my .nmconnection file and set the correct adapter to be used.
