Upgrading from Linux Mint 20.3 to Linux Mint 21

Post by claude_andre »

Hi, I attempted to upgrade my Linux Mint 20.3 to Linux Mint 21. The process fails in the “Fixing check 'Foreign packages'”. I searched the web to see if there were some obvious issue(s) and how to address them (nothing helped). Here is the console output:

In the absence of a reply I search the web and finally found a working solution:
> I removed The "libreoffice/ppa".
> Upgraded to Linux 21 and rebooted .
> Then issued: "add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa" and "apt install libreoffice"
I am not sure how to close this post.
