That is an unusual situation for xrandr to no longer see the laptop display. How did you install the Nvidia driver?

What is the output of

Code: Select all

cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf
That file should not exist.

I did a search and I have helped two others with Acer Nitro AN515-44s so I am hopeful we can get yours to work.

The part I have highlighted is extremely odd unless you started making changes in Nvidia X Server settings that might have created an xorg.conf file. The laptop display is showing as connected to the onboard AMD GPU, but there's no driver loaded for AMD. Only an nvidia driver is loaded.

Did you install drivers from this repo?
