USB Port to Arduino IDE and Flysky

Hello all -

I have a Nano Sense BLE 33 that when I run lsusb will show up in the terminal window as Texas Insturments, but the sketches don't load.

So I tried to plug in a FlySky remote control transmitter. Again it showed up in lsusb but won't connect to any flight simulator.

What is happening to keep the items from being recognized by the software (flight simulators or Ardunio IDE) when lsusb shows them?
