Did anyone tried to play ULTRAKILL on Linux Mint?

Hi guys
I wanted to ask If anyone have tried to play ULTRAKILL on Linux Mint using Proton?
I'm willing to buy the game this summer, I tried the demo with Proton Experimental but it seems to be stuck at 5 FPS
I wanna know what would be the problem? I don't wanna buy the game then It doesn't work :/

To know whether a game will run good on Linux using proton, you can check ProtonDB website (https://www.protondb.com). I found ULTRAKILL on protondb listed as "Platinum" which means it should run very good under proton (first reports are Steam Deck ones. scroll down to PC Reports)...

How did the experience with the demo one was? Also which version of Proton you used?

Unfortunately haven't tried the demo, I just bought it at first.
I am running Proton experimental. It runs essentially the same as on Windows.

Weird, Can you try and tell me how the experience was? I don't wanna spend my money and get shocked by 5 FPS again *_*
The game worked like a charm on Windows (cracked version) that makes me wonder if only the demo version has this issue or the whole game in general

Game looks actively developed and demo must be based on an older build.
Protondb reports are enough to conclude that if Ultrakill runs badly on your Linux system,
then problem lies not in the game itself but in your hardware or/and system configuration.

I would try the demo if size is smallish but Steam does not let me add it to my library on Linux and run it via proton.

I just added it to the library from the store and It got added, nothing really special

I enabled "Steam Play" for all titles and so I've been able to install the Demo.
Performance: 700+ fps with vsync off!
