Visualisation of programs for beginners

Post by jujielbrus »

Hello!

If anyone could be interested to develop visual interface for such useful utilities like rsync, PAMUSB and any other programs on a enthusiastic list?

Case is that not every person after moving to Linux can get over command line and instead of that these programs can get more useful having mouse\graphic interface to work with user

Thanks

For a GUI front-end to rsync, have a look at LuckyBackup or BackInTime - both are aimed at backing up your user files and do so with slightly different goals in mind. Also the installed-by-default Timeshift also uses rsync but is used for system snapshots and isn't aimed at users looking for a generic backup tool.
