Hello,
I have just done something, I don't know what, but I have suddenly activated multiple workspaces.
Most precisely, everything that was on my workspace disappeared. I came to the conclusion it was a problem of workspace.
Now the desktop behave strangely, I know that the multiple workspaces are activated but I can't see anything to change workspace or to cancel the function.
Could someone help me please?

Re: Workspaces
Yes I use Cinnamon on Linux Mint 20.2.
Re: Workspaces
I finally found the answer!
CTRL+ALT+UPPER ARROW and then I see the hidden virtual desktops.
There is nothing apparent to inform the user if you don't use this shortcut.
Anyway thank you kc1di for your reply.

Re: Workspaces
You can enable the "Workspace Switcher" applet that goes on the Panel:
Re: Workspaces
I was going to also suggest that you look at expo applet it put three dots on the panel and when you click on it brings up all the desktops available.
Good Luck.

Re: Workspaces
Very interesting the applet option.
Linux Mint is such a relief when you come from windows I really love the way it is built.
And there is so much to discover!
Thank you for your help.

Re: Workspaces
Actually, I think that most desktop environments implement "Workspaces" (aka Virtual Desktops).
I have personally used this feature on Cinnamon, Xfce and GNOME and I believe Mate and KDE Plasma also has it.
At work I have used "Workspaces" on Windows 10.
To me "Workspaces" is an overlooked feature well worth exploring.

Re: Workspaces
To shift workspaces I like the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Alt + Left/Right. Works on cinnamon, and MATE. Up arrow on MATE gives expo view.
Mint 20.0, and 21.0 MATE on Thinkpads, 3 X T420, T450, T470, and X200
