AMD 4700s desktop kit - Not loading Live disc

Hiya,
I am looking for help installing Mint on a 4700s AMD Desktop Kit PC.
When I start a live disc (Version 21.1 Cinnamon) it starts the grub loader, I then choose the live disc, then the PC just does a black screen and nothing else, I have tried the safe mode choice as well. What can I do to load the live disc, to be able to install the OS.

Things I have tried in the mean time to get it to work.

I have tried the nomodeset, and the radeon.nomodeset in the startup options and it still does the same thing,

Is this what you have? If so, the "List of Compatible Graphics Cards:" does not have an AMD 500 graphics card in the list. Which specific graphic card do you have?

Also, the cards I see in that compatibility list do not use the radeon driver so that kernel parameter is not relevant. Those GPUs use the amdgpu driver.

Yup that is the one, it has a RX550 in it, that was my mistake.

Did you install Windows and make sure the system has the latest BIOS/UEFI from AMD? I'm not sure if it comes with the latest or there is any way to upgrade it without Windows if it is not the latest.

My guess there is a BIOS/UEFI setting which may be causing an issue, but I'm not familiar with these kits to have any guesses what might be included with them from a firmware standpoint. What kind of hard drive did you install?

The HDD is an 500gb SSD, Will go and check if there is an BIOS/UEFI update available.
