I've deleted Vista from a Toshiba Satellite laptop and attempting to install Linux Mint 20.3. Setup dev/sda1 for /, a swap partition and dev/sda2 for the /home partitions. Selected dev/sda1 for the boot.
On booting following message Installation completed, remove SUB and reboot I received the following:
error : file `/boot/grub/i386-pc/normal.mod' not found.
Entering rescue mode ...
grub rescue>
What now? Let Linux Mint do the install. Problem solved.
