Wi-fi issues, wrong password message on 2.4 Ghz network Mint 21 and Mint 21.1 Cinnamon, Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen3 Intel

Post by adamq »

Hi,
I've already had a topic with the same problem:
viewtopic.php?p=2228028#p2228028

The topic above was with another machine: Lenovo ThinkPad T450s with Mint 21 Cin
The problem: after upgrade from Mint 19.3 to Mint 21 Cinnamon, had a problem with one specific Wi-Fi network only on 2.4Ghz,
when connecting to it receiving constant message of wrong password (the password is correct), on same network 5Ghz all good.
Clean install of Linux Mint 21 Cinnamon on the same machine didnt solved the issue.

Now, have a new machine Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen3, Intell i5.
Installed Linux Mint 21.1 Cinnamon.
And have the same problem with the same Wi-Fi netwok 2.4Ghz, receiving constant message of the wrong passowrd.
On the same network 5Ghz - no issues.
On Win OS 11, Win OS 10, Android tablet Samsung S6 lite, Android cellphone - no issues at all with the same Wi-Fi network 2.4Ghz.
-----
Tried kernel versions: 5.15.0-73 and 5.19.0-43 - same problem
SecureBoot disabled
Wi-Fi router with problem: TP-Link
presently connected to another network, see the details about the system below

Any idea what could it be?
The issue with two different machines Lenovo T450s and Lenovo T14 Gen3 and only on Linux Mint 21 and 21.1?
