How to add background to grub? [SOLVED]
i was wondering on how to edit grub, change the names of the operating systems, and generally tinker with it. ii dual boot mint with windows 10

so i have installed grub-customizer and it was able to change the boot entries, but it wasn't able to add a background, so i still need help

that program - grub-customizer - is usually Not recommended.
as it really does mess up your grub, and is difficult to remove.

I'm pretty sure it's supported, almost certain even. There are plenty of articles about GC on the internet, just do a search.
What isn't well covered is how to unwind it. Bookmark this tutorial.
