Tried to login on the portal.office.com / https://www.microsoft365.com/ from Firefox and got the error message that site not found after clicking login button.
I also tried to ping login.microsoftonline.com but nothing happens. Nslookup does work but traceroute doesn't.
I have LMDE5 on my main PC and laptop. Laptop won't login either. All my machines are in the same home subnet. Login works in Debian 11 machines and Fedora virtual machine on my main PC. All of those uses same DNS from router.
Ping to login.microsoftonline.com works with Fedora VM. So does LMDE block that address?

Vanguard debian, because nothing's worse than doing nothing whimsically.

Re: Cannot Login to Microsoft M365
Front page did load immediately and after clicking Sign in button it took couple minutes to get to the login page. I tried my M365 and personal Outlook addresses but login failed:argentwolf wrote: ⤴Mon Aug 21, 2023 6:57 am Trouble's good leaving here...can you log into www.live.com?

Re: Cannot Login to Microsoft M365
Sounds silly, but have you tried https://www.office.com/ ?
Re: Cannot Login to Microsoft M365
"We can’t connect to the server at login.microsoftonline.com." after clicking Sign in.
So does LMDE block login attemps to Microsoft or is it Microsoft blocking my LMDE installs?
Re: Cannot Login to Microsoft M365
it won't be LMDE blocking anything . . .
but - it might be your web browser - what are you using ?
- have you tried with an alternative web browser ?

Re: Cannot Login to Microsoft M365
I'm using Firefox on all my systems and haven't tried any alternatives. Ping does not work either so i don't think it's browser.
I just don't get it why it is two LMDE systems that doesn't login to M365. I have no problems with Debian or Fedora. It used to work, but stopped working about a couple of months ago.

Re: Cannot Login to Microsoft M365
Maybe this is due to your dns?
please share output of the following:
Code: Select all
resolvectl status
1.1.1.1
On firefox you can try that by navigating to Settings --> Privacy and Security --> Max protection --> Choose Provider --> Cloudflare
Re: Cannot Login to Microsoft M365
Changing Firefox DNS setting from Default to Max Protection (Cloudflare) did the trick! Thanks!Midnight True wrote: ⤴Tue Aug 22, 2023 9:02 am

This is bit confusing because everything else did work, only had problem with M365.
Code: Select all
~$ systemctl is-active systemd-resolved
inactive
~$ resolvectl status
