I had previously configured the clock app to display the local weather near the bottom right corner of the screen and then it mysteriously stopped working. Attachment "showweatheron.jpg" is to illustrate that the clock applet makes a space where weather used to be displayed.
I tried reset all panels and still and after resetting location and ticking show weather it still won't show up .
