Program the Asus Motherboard Q-Code LED?

Post by codyt07 »

Hello all,

Currently giving LMDE 6 a try. So far it has been great.

Anywho, I am using an ASUS ROG Strix X570 motherboard. I keep the computer near me where I can see inside (spent an hour building it, have to enjoy it).

Near the bottom are two digit leds that give a readout. On windows, I could set those readouts via the ASUS app to display certain things such as CPU or GPU temp. On Linux so far, they just stay double 0. I have seen the ASUS Aura github project, but I don't think that is what I need. Do those numbers really mean anything to me in the grand scheme of things? No, but it's cool to see something other than 00 if possible.

If anyone is aware of an application that will let me modify that readout (bonus if it controls the board's RGB) please share :)
