[UNSOLVABLE] My desktop folders move on launch

Post by Covenauta »

Hello, I notice that my folders move when I turn on my laptop, seems like they move to a specific arrangement which change depending on the folder's number. If I organize them, just in few starts they went back to the same non-sense place, first one or two moves and on the following launch they are in their "final form", since there they don't move unless I try to reorganize them again, in that case they soon or latter go back to the "final form"

On the screenshots you can see how I put them and then when they've reached to the "final form"

It's a Mint thing... i had it constantly on Mint 19, very annoying! Now on 20 i don't store shortcuts and folders on my desktop anymore.

There are different ways to arrange Desktop icons (in Cinnamon anyway), have you tried that to see if it gets closer to what you want?
