Which keyboard+mouse shortcuts do you use often?

Post by wwblm »

All41 suggested that I open this topic and it sounds like a great idea to me! I just recently learned of control scroll to zoom in and out and find it incredibly useful! No doubt there are many other things hiding in plain sight that we can use to make our Linux experience even better!

Is from the Linux Mint documentation of shortcuts. I have also downloaded this to refer to.

Here are a couple of additional shortcuts that I enjoy:
For the file manager F3 to add a split pane.
Another one that comes to mind is the super shift arrow keys to move windows to another monitor.

What keyboard shortcuts to you all use?

I use Compiz, so zoom in , and out is Ctrl + up/down arrow.

I like to launch often used programs with custom shortcuts;
Super + G = gnote
Super + K = Ksnip
Super + R = Rofi
Super + S = System Monitor
Super + X = Xed

Switch workspace Ctrl + left/right
Change calculator to Super + C
