Suggestion for Timeshift

Post by JerryF »

Now that Mint has taken over support for Timeshift for some time, I'd like to suggest that a dialog box appear with a prompt "Are you sure?" when manually deleting snapshots.

Thanks!

I'll add to this.

It would also be great if TS did a quick check whenever a snapshot is about to be made on how much disk space is left and if there is less than 15% free space on the partition (or whatever), the user gets a prompt to delete an older snapshot.

This may be a bit OT, but I run MX KDE as my main driver, and if I run

Code: Select all

apt show timeshift
in the terminal, this is what I get for maintainers:

Code: Select all

Package: timeshift
Version: 22.06.5-1~mx21+1
Priority: optional
Section: utils
Maintainer: fehlix <fehlix@mxlinux.org>
Original-Maintainer: Yanhao Mo <yanhaocs@gmail.com>
... more apt show output follows
