[UNSOLVED] ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Failure creating named object

Post by Burkhardt »

Hi everyone!

I run LMDE on an HP Pavilion Notebook that starts with BIOS errors...
It is usable but sometimes unstable and needs a restart.
Although I have not had any serious issues, I do not want to
delay solving this issue before it becomes problematic as I do use
this machine for work.

In case of serious trouble, I do however have all critical files backed up
with MEGA Clous Storage...

In terminal - my "inxi" output:
CPU: 10-core (2-mt/8-st) 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1255U (-MST AMCP-)
speed/min/max: 667/400/4700:3500 MHz Kernel: 6.1.0-17-amd64 x86_64 Up: 1h 38m
Mem: 4108.0/15661.6 MiB (26.2%) Storage: 953.87 GiB (23.7% used) Procs: 307
Shell: Bash inxi: 3.3.26

In terminal - my "hostnamectl" output (partly):
Operating System: LMDE 6 (faye)
Kernel: Linux 6.1.0-17-amd64
Architecture: x86-64
Hardware Vendor: HP
Hardware Model: HP Pavilion Laptop 15-eg2xxx
Firmware Version: F.13

Also see pic attached of the exact frame with errors frozen.

Any help would be truly appreciated!
Regards, B.

Reason: Added code tags to inxi output to preserve its formatting making it easier to read. Added translation.

Strictly English from now on....

Have you tried updating the BIOS? Check the support section of the HP website. If there's such a BIOS update available, apply it.

Furthermore, apply this:
