Hi, i just install LMDE 6 on my 6700k, Z170I Pro gaming machine it is my first install outside a VM, i had trouble to install on my pc imidiatly lock up when i hit the first menu choice, to fix this i had to change my CPU setting ALL core to 2 core for the install could start. the install when well and boot nicely. but i when back in setting to put back ALL core in my CPU setting then reboot then LMDE6 wont boot. so i put it back to de 2 core setting in BIOS. so i wonder if anything could do to run my machine with all 4 core enabled ?
Best regards
LMDE6 wont boot if ALL core selected in bios

Re: LMDE6 wont boot if ALL core selected in bios
Hello n0th1ng and welcome to Mint forums
It is not normal for sure.
Make sure you have not enabled any overclocking in your firmware/bios settings.
Post your system specs just in case: System Reports --> System Information --> Press the actual "Copy" button --> Paste here into a new post or edit your original one.
