Mini games we played in 90s and 2000s

Post by taskee »

Hi everyone, I need help. Are there any mini games for linux mint, like we used to play in the 90s and 2000s, without needing an internet connection. Let's say pinball, zuma deluxe, chicken invaders, etc. If there are, please tell me where to download them, and feel free to recommend some other good arcade minigames, that are free and do not require internet for them. Thank you!

Ok I made a compromise and did the following:
1. Downloaded the game Ltris, which is tetris for linux
2. I created an account on the itch.io site and found a bunch of free linux games there, the only thing you need is an internet connection. There is even a flatpak app for linux mint, which is cool.

I would check out https://archive.org/details/classicpcgames - as far as I saw, they only have "Windows Executables" as download option. But that should be easy to run with Wine. Here is one of the games you've mentioned for example: https://archive.org/details/chinv240

In case you do not mind it being run in a browser, you could also check out https://archive.org/details/internetarcade

Have you checked out the Games category in the Software Manager? There are some classics there.

Hope you can find what you are looking for.
