Please, for the love of god, instruct me how to install xfce-winxp-tc on Linux Mint XFCE Edition.
https://github.com/rozniak/xfce-winxp-tc
A step-by-step instruction with commands meant for a fresh setup would be adequate. An installation script that would only require "./script.sh" would be good. A way to add the theme through the GUI, i.e. by selecting a single .tar.gz file would be ideal. An add-PPA, update, install would be perfect.
Right now I can't get it to work on anything. Instructions meant for Xubuntu are outdated because the developer is constantly tinkering with the theme to get it "pixel-perfect". And I'm too dumb to install arch and even try the aur.
Please help. I so want my Mint to look like XP.

And you shouldn't think about doing anything like this without doing a timeshift snapshot first.
