Hi,
I suspect that the cure may not be worth the effort.
I have a flash dive (I think it was an ISO) that I can’t do anything with. As soon as I put it in the computer starts looping and pop ups galore. Even if I can hit format in time to get that box ‘format’ is grayed out.
Today I am getting
Unable to mount 16 volume..
Unable to mount..op canceled
Folder contents can't be displayed,
and it keeps looping
Is there an easier fix or do I just toss it?
Thanks,

Re: Reformat ISO thumb drive?
I would try to wipe it with GParted (apt install gparted). just be careful and make sure you select your USB drive and not something else!
