[Cinnamon] When monitors go to sleep only the primary screen wakes up

Post by obsidian »

Hi everyone,

Currently running the latest mint on my laptop, with a secondary monitor conected via HDMI. When both monitors go to sleep and I later wake them, only the primary laptop screen wakes, the secondary monitor remains shut down until I unplug and replug the HDMI cable.

This does not happen with MATE or XFCE, only Cinnamon.

This is my system report:

The fix for your problem from the other topic has been backported to the 6.5 kernel. Please install the latest 6.5 kernel and see if that clears the issues.
