Thank you so much for this amazing community!

I have a Sanson Q9U mic with an 1/8" output zero-latency headphone monitoring feature. Nevertheless I couldn't make it work on Mint. The method "pactl load-module module-loopback latency_msec=1" is not suited for me since the mic has hardware monitoring. It works fine on Windows, and quite frankly this is the only thing from keeping me ditching Windows entirely. It is really important for me to be able to hear my own voice with zero latency.

Any suggestion will be much appreciated.

2. I don't understand what's not working
- device
- zero-latency

If device not working then you need driver for Linux.
You can try to install the latest kernel. Kernel provides open source drivers if exists.

Zero-latency can be hard to achieve.
- I tried using it a long time ago " latency kernel for musicians "
- I tried use Jack Audio, today is better PipeWire.
There are guides on how to do it, but it's not easy. At least for me it's not easy.

- I can boast that I recently bought headphones and they also had a USB sound card.
And system sounds worked but YouTube sound doesn't.
In the pavucontrol application, I changed the output type to "analog or digital", it helped.
