How do I check what version of Bluetooth is running?

I'm using TP-Link newest 5.3 USB Bluetooth dongle UB500, but I would like to know how I can see what version my system is running, and if I would need to make any changes. I loved that it was pretty much plug and play.

There is probably a suitable command for this. I opened the Application (software) Manager and entered "Blue". The installed package is then shown:
blueman.jpg
How you get better results when searching for yourself.
