Hello from the mountains of Utah.
I am new to this forum and Linux in this time. I used to run a version of redhat back in the 90's and worked on a mainframe running Unix in the late 80's.

Re: Hello from the mountains of Utah.
I will take a picture. Right now snow line is about 500 above my home.
I am running Mint 21.3 and am impressed. I have it loaded on a I7 laptop. My newer I9 laptop & desktop are still Windows & Microsoft. I need to test features out before I ditch them.
One of my goals is to setup a server to handle printing, file sharing and auto backups of both laptops and the desktop over my network. Inside the house I have a wireless router 2.4 & 5Ghz connected to fiber on the input, a underground cat6 to my workshop 100 feet and a wireless link to the chicken coop are connected to it. The desktop and laptop I7 are in the shop at my electronics bench.
