Update Manager Feature?

Post by TaterChip »

Is there a way to introduce a column in the update manager for the release date of the update? That way if a user would rather not be in the first wave to install an update they can hold off on that particular one for a few days to see if it has caused any problems.

I don't know.
Consider that this information must be in the repository, the Update Manager cannot read what does not exist.

What do you consider to be the "release date"?

If you select a package, you have the ability to see in the lower pane the changelog which dates when the change was made. That does not necessarily correspond to when the package was released to Update Manager, but that's the only date of which I am aware. (Not all packages have changelogs.)
