Cursor on subtitles when in full screen

Post by Annanuki »

Hi to all lovely mint users!
I have a noticed that when i press on something on a web page the cursor appears on the thing i am pressing. Not always but very often this happens. And when i watch something on full screen (this happens only on Netflix) the cursor appears on the end of the subtitles and is blinking. I have checked in the settings editor and change a few things but haven't found what causes this behavior.
Maybe you can shine some light on this, any help or advice is much appreciated.

Update to the problem, the cursor appeared on the Brave browser but not on the Midori browser when in full screen on netflix. So apparently it's a Brave thing.

A blinking keyboard cursor is to be toggled on/off in Firefox via [F7] key. You may see if that works for Brave too or not.

Couldn't find that setting on Brave. But it only happens on my laptop that has the Linux mint Xfce.

Anyway thanks for the advise man :)
