Buongiorno a tutti e grazie in anticipo a chi mi aiuterà.
3 mesi fa ho acquistato un nuovo notebook HP Envy 17 cw001nl con audio Bang & Olufsen sul quale ho provveduto ad installare (purtroppo solo in dual boot) Mint Cinamon 21.3
Il SO funziona perfettamente tranne che per un piccolo dettaglio ovvero non funzionano gli altoparlanti mentre cuffie e bluetooth vanno perfettamente.
Prima di fare questo topic ho cercato in rete ed in particolare ho provato questa soluzione:

ma senza risultato.
Non che nutrissi speranze ma ho chiesto anche al servizio tecnico di HP ma hanno tenuto a precisarmi che loro non offrono supporto per SO Linux ed anzi ne sconsigliano l'uso.
Ribadisco che non è un grosso problema, più che altro uno sfizio...ma qualcuno ha idee?

Ciao, che kernel è installato? Posta le info di sistema, sarà più facile trovare un aiuto. Comunque spulciando qua e la mi sembra di aver capito che devi aspettare la pubblicazione del kernel 6.8.

nel topic dichiarato come Risolto che ti indico di seguito, il caso pare simile al tuo, infatti il pc in questione monta un chip audio "chip-ID: 8086:51ca", come il tuo.

Eventualmente se vuoi provare, prima di eseguire il comando indicato, fai un'immagine di backup del sistema con "Timeshift", che in caso di problemi potrai ripristinare.

Grazie ancora,da una ricerca in rete pare il problema sia dovuto all' ampli audio Bang & Olufsen, tutto sebra funzionare perfettamente,nelle impostazioni audio compare la voce "play Hi Fi quality music", se apro un file musicale viene visualizzato lo spettro correttamente..ma nonostante tutto non si sente nulla.Paolo_C wrote: ⤴Tue Mar 19, 2024 2:22 pm Salve,
