Hello folks! Hope you're all well.
I've written a small app for myself/friends/family. I know all about creating launchers (shortcuts) on the desktop and in the main menu. What I'm trying to figure out is how to add one directly to the panel via terminal or some other method. Basically, I just want to be able to tick a checkbox in my app and have the launcher show up in the panel. I'll figure out the coding logistics, I just need the method.
Thanks a bunch, eh! (Yep, I'm from Canada LOL)
Add launcher to panel via terminal?

Panel is obviously DE dependent. So you shall write down which one you use here. Cinnamon/Mate/Xfce. Best if providing the exact LM version.

Sorry. Using LM 21.3, Mate.billyswong wrote: ⤴Wed Mar 27, 2024 5:41 am Panel is obviously DE dependent. So you shall write down which one you use here. Cinnamon/Mate/Xfce. Best if providing the exact LM version.
