Attempt to Virtual Machine gone wierd

Post by The Jobe New »

- Tried to set up a Virtual Machine for the first time, installed Virtual Machine Manager.
- I have a dual boot, Windows and Linux where Windows it the primary operating system.
- After restarting to Linux , usually it loads straight to the Linux login screen.
- However this time, after passing the GNU GRUB screen it stops at a ' tty1 screen ' where I have to manually key-in to get to the Linux login screen.

This is what it shows before the tty1 screen.

-After enter the username and password. I have to type in
systemctl restart gdm
- then I can get to the Linux login screen

- Also, after entering the desktop, there is no audio. The Sound applet is not at the taskbar.
- I have to type at the terminal;
pulseaudio --start
sound applet appears at the task bar, and audio is back to normal.

Almost forgot, my System Information:
